There will then be a short walk to the cliff where the instructor will set up ropes for you to try out several different rock climbs. Depending on location you may also be able to try out abseiling. You’ll be guided through movement skills and key safety skills by your instructor, ensuring you get the most out of your experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is it?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nFor our taster session we usually use sea cliffs just 10 minutes drive from the city centre – near Cove. We also regularly use sea cliffs a little further south at Newtonhill. There are also two other locations at Kirriemuir and Ballater.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Sturdy shoes to climb in – We also have some rock climbing shoes available you can try<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Snacks and water<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- A small backpack to carry the above (and a helmet) to the cliffs is useful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
All climbing equipment is provided including helmets, harnesses and ropes. You can take your own if you have it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
