It involves moving along and through steep terrain where your hands will be needed for balance and to aid progress. It can range from hill walks with one or two tricky steps to long continuous sections of easy rock climbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your instructor Liam will lead you on any scrambles you are interested in whilst allowing you to relax and enjoy the scrambling. Liam will likely be using a rope to keep you safe for some or all of the scramble. There will be opportunities to learn along the way and improve your skill set and confidence.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n For Hillwalkers and Climbers of any experience level. If you have never scrambled before and would like to give it a go and have an adventure. Through to scramblers with years of experience who have a route in mind and are looking for somebody to lead it and keep them safe. For guided scrambling, we keep the ratios low, 1:2, so we can take you on an adventure and keep you safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under 18\u2019s are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent on the scramble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We guided scrambles all over Scotland. Two of the main areas for scrambling in Scotland are Glen Coe and Ben Nevis. With scrambles such as Curved ridge on Buchaille Etive Mor and Tower Ridge of Ben Nevis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We also have options closer to our base in Aberdeenshire at Lochnagar and in the Cairngorms National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have a route in mind, or are looking for ideas of what may be possible, get in touch!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n *All\u00a0equipment is provided – You are welcome to use your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cove Climbing is run by Liam, a qualified instructor with over a decade of climbing and hillwalking experience.
