If you want to go on winter hill walks then this is the course for you! It can also be tailored to those who have some winter experience and would like a skills refresher to boost their confidence in having a safe winter hill day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where is it?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Winter Skills courses would usually be run in Glenshee where the A93 takes us to around 650m at the Glenshee Ski Centre Car Park. This height give us quick access to the snow line to work on our skills sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also use Glen Muick and Lochnagar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking for a different location? You may use your own.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helmet \u2013 Provided by Cove Climbing.&nbsp;\ufeffYou may use your own.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hat, Warm, windproof gloves plus spares x 2 minimum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Warm winter walking socks recommended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lots of warm layers, ie 2 base layer and 2 fleeces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Belay\u2019 type jacket. ie a warm jacket that can be worn over your waterproof. Typically synthetic or down filled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goggles, double clear lens recommended.
