Guided Hillwalking

Hillwalking in the Highlands

Get out in the hills and take in the views. The Scottish hills are rugged and offer amazing scenery with seemingly summits disappearing in the distance. Away from the honey pot areas, they are also extremely quiet and have a sense of solitude unmatched in the UK.

Get out in the hills and summit a Munro or two, with the reassurance of a guide along the way. Perhaps use this day to have your navigation abilities reviewed and honed in a relaxed manner. Classic days include Lochnagar, Mayar and Driesh in Glen Clova, Glas Maol and it’s ajoining high Munros in Glenshee, and the big day out of Ben Macdui. However there are plenty more great hills in the North East offering great days out and views.

There will be opportunity to learn more about navigation and staying safe in the hills in Scotland, but for a more comprehensive introductions to navigation, look at our navigation courses.

The ratio for guiding is 1 instructor to 6 participants. Under 18s welcome, but one of the other participants must be a parent who is joining for the day.

The Cost is £220 for a full day for up to 6 participants.
