This will involve an introduction to climbing outdoors. This is aimed at beginners, families and groups of friends with little to zero rock climbing experience. The goal will be to get you climbing as much as possible in a safe and relaxing manner and you will get lots of tips on how to move effectively whilst climbing.
What to expect
We will meet in a car park, have a quick chat then a short walk to the cliff. We will take some time to get you familiar with the equipment and the ropes will be set up for you. You will get to experience climbing up a cliff and then abseiling back down again. If you are at a sea cliff, then in between climbing is an excellent opportunity to look out for Dolphins, Seals and a large variety of sea birds including Puffins.
Locations: Climbing can take place at sea cliffs at Newtonhill, Cove or Cruden Bay. We also use inland crags at Ballater and Kirriemuir. Each location has a different feel and character but all offer good climbing.
